The necessary legal bits. All hire agreements made with Cherish are subject to the following terms and conditions. Please get in touch if there's anything here that you'd like more information about.
The Owner is Keren Code Trading As Cherish Wedding Hire.
The Hirer is the contact name on the booking confirmation email.
The Hire Period is the time from the agreed collection date to the agreed return date.
The Hired Goods are all items specified in the booking confirmation email, along with their accessories including keys and storage boxes.
At all times the Hired Goods remain the property of the owner.
The Hirer shall be solely responsible for the Hired Goods during the Hire Period, and shall be alone responsible for insuring the goods from the time of collection, until return and acceptance of goods back into the possession of the Owner.
The Owner shall not be responsible for any injury or damage to persons or property howsoever sustained arising from any Hired Goods.
Hire is only agreed once the Hirer has paid the total hire cost, and has received the booking confirmation email from the Owner. The Hirer is responsible for ensuring that all payments have been received by the Owner.
In the event of a booking being cancelled more than 2 months before the Hire Period, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total hire cost will be retained by the Owner. The remaining 50% will be refunded to the Hirer.
In the event of a booking being cancelled less than 2 months before the Hire Period, a cancellation fee of 100% of the total hire cost will be retained by the Owner.
The security deposit of £100 is required on collection of the Hired Goods and will be refunded in full upon return of the Hired Goods, in a clean undamaged condition.
On return/collection after hire, if any of the Hired Goods or included storage/accessories are damaged or missing then the Owner will retain the security deposit, and will send a replacement invoice to the Hirer if the cost to repair or replace exceeds the £100 security deposit. If the cost to repair or replace is less than the £100 security deposit then the balance will be refunded to the Hirer. Replacement charges for all Hired Goods are available upon request by the Hirer. Storage box replacement is £20, and key replacement is £10. Replacement invoices will be issued within 28 days of the Hire Period.
The Owner reserves the right to use any photography taken during the Hire Period for promotional purposes unless otherwise advised by the Hirer.
